Lenten Lunches: It will soon be Lent and both Ringwood and Fordingbridge churches will be holding lunches on Fridays during Lent. Do, please, support this enterprise by coming along and giving a donation for a simple meal. All money raised will go directly to CAFOD for their humanitarian work across the world.
Family Fast Day: This will be 3rd March this year. The idea is that we give up something on this day and give what we save to CAFOD. You will hear more about one of the projects that CAFOD is supporting at the Masses and envelopes will be available as usual.
Fordingbridge coffee morning and marmalade sale raised £87 with cash and Dona contactless donations. Thank you. We would like to say an extra ‘Thank You’ to Matilda S and Ben H, two young parishioners who gave us great help with serving and clearing away. See you next time!
Turkey and Syria Earthquake: CAFOD are already deeply involved with supporting the aid efforts in this area. Because of the generosity of parishes in recent Fast Days and other donations, they were able to make an initial allocation of £100,000 to provide urgent humanitarian support – food, water, shelter, medical assistance and winter kits – in the worst affected areas.
