Important Information

THE CHURCH IS OPEN FOR PUBLIC WORSHIP.

The BCP Area is in Tier 2: High alert – places of worship remain open but you must not socialise with people from outside of your household or support bubble while you are indoors there, unless a legal exemption applies.

Sunday, 9:30 & 11am & Wednesday 9:30 Masses will be live-streamed

WE ARE RESTRICTED TO MAX 80 PEOPLE

To attend a Sunday Mass – you need to register at the following address :-olqpmassbookings@gmail.com   You will get a response via email giving instructions.
If you are unable to make the Sunday Mass you could try the Wednesday 9:30 Mass. You do not need to reserve a seat for this Mass, but once we have reached the current allowed capacity no further admittance will be possible.

Face Masks in the church; This is mandatory and works towards us all keeping each other safe and is a small price to pay if we are able to continue to be able to come to Mass and receive the sacraments. You are reminded about social distancing, hand hygiene, using the one system, and if ill not to attend Mass.    Please do follow the instructions of the Stewards and please do try to arrive early and before the start of Mass so you can be seated, otherwise you may not get in.  Please do not socialise with others outside your ‘support bubble’ within the church.

PRIVATE PRAYER – Wednesday after Mass until 1030 and Friday evening 6-7 pm. On arrival please sanitise your hands, record your name and collect a Red card, using this to place on the seat that you occupy. When you leave the church leave the red card on your seat so the stewards know which benches need sanitising.

Toilet facilities  – if you use the toilets please use the cleaning equipment to wipe down the areas you have touched including handles and toilet flush.

Masses will be live streamed on Sundays and Wednesdays at 9:30 am on the following link https://tinyurl.com/yccht998

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession) is also still available – please call the Parish Office on 01202 424960 to arrange an appointment

Parish Giving

Donate through Give as you Live Donate

Amazon
A source of income with a lot of potential, free to us and free to the giver.

Please consider shopping through Amazon Smile and Amazon will give 0.5%
of your shop to our Diocese. Go to https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ and
search “Portsmouth Catholic Diocesan Trust” to get started.

Same prices, same selection, same shopping experience but Amazon will
give a donation to support our parishes, clergy and mission, bringing
people closer to Jesus Christ through His Church.

~~~~~~~
Thank you for your generous support.
We would not be able to continue our work and mission, bringing people
closer to Jesus Christ through His Church, without the many people who
give their time, talents and financial contributions so generously to
support our parish, clergy and Church.
The unprecedented times we are currently going through have brought new
challenges for us all. Churches have had to close, and now thankfully
re-open but with limited capacity. Like many, our parish has felt the
pastoral and financial effects of the COVID19 pandemic.
Our Lord is always here for us all, and we will endeavour to always be
there for you through these challenging times. If you feel able, please
give generously to support our parish and mission.
