Our Lady Queen of Peace & Blessèd Margaret Pole, Southbourne

Important Information

Within the current legislation the church has a capacity of 80 people.

To enable us to manage this we have introduced a booking system for Sunday Masses, see the section below on SUNDAY MASS. Wednesday Mass will be on a first come first serve basis, and once we have reached our allowed capacity no further admittance will be possible.  These arrangements are under constant review as we adjust to the both legislation and demand.

The number of stewards we have in place, allows us to offer 2 Masses on Sunday and 1 Mass during the week, which will be on the Wednesday, details in the newsletter. Private prayer with adoration will be available after the Wednesday Mass until 1030.

The live-streaming for Sunday’s 930 and 1130 Masses will start promptly so that we have an opportunity to brief those who are attending Mass on the current and fast changing guidance. If you are coming to Mass, please arrive in good time, as people will need to be briefed and we will start Mass on time and no entry will be possible once Mass has started.

You will need to wear a face covering whilst in the church.

To book a seat for Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace, please email olqpmassbookings@gmail.com You need to do this by the Wednesday before the Sunday Mass you wish to attend. This is because we are restricted to the number of people we can have in the church. Please read the following document on attending mass: Public Mass Guidelines

Online streaming Mass OLQP, Sundays at 9:30 and 11am on the following link: Live Mass.

Confessions are by appointment.
