Our Lady Queen of Peace & Blessèd Margaret Pole, Southbourne

MASS IN THE CHURCH
Sunday, 9:30 & 11am and Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 (check newsletter).

NEW PROCEDURES FOR ATTENDING MASS

The advice we have been given is TO CONTINUE with HAND SANITIZING, THE WEARING OF FACE MASKS AND THE REGISTERING OF PEOPLE WHO COME TO MASS.

On arrival please sanitize your hands and then register your arrival by using either the NHS Trace and Trace app, via the displayed QR Code; or by bringing a slip of paper with your name, contact details and number of people in your group.  This slip is to be place in one of the bins provided for this purpose.  The slips will be retained for 21 days.

The aisle to the far right as you enter the main body of the church is for those who wish to socially distance and for those who are vulnerable.

We are reintroducing the collection during Mass; if you wish to use the card machine this will be available.

After Mass, please make use of either the side exit or the rear exit depending which is nearest to you.

We are reminded of the need for caution and restraint.

Toilet facilities – if you use the toilets please use the cleaning
equipment to wipe down the areas you have touched including handles and toilet flush.

**Anyone who is clinically extremely vulnerable or shielding should take particular care and stay at home. **

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession) is available after the Wednesday 930 Mass, or by appointment – please call the Parish Office on 01202 424960

Parish Giving

Donate through Give as you Live Donate

Amazon
A source of income with a lot of potential, free to us and free to the giver.

Please consider shopping through Amazon Smile and Amazon will give 0.5% of your shop to our Diocese. Go to https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ and search “Portsmouth Catholic Diocesan Trust” to get started.

Same prices, same selection, same shopping experience but Amazon will give a donation to support our parishes, clergy and mission, bringing people closer to Jesus Christ through His Church.

Thank you for your generous support.
We would not be able to continue our work and mission, bringing people closer to Jesus Christ through His Church, without the many people who give their time, talents and financial contributions so generously to support our parish, clergy and Church.
The unprecedented times we are currently going through have brought new challenges for us all. Churches have had to close, and now thankfully re-open but with limited capacity. Like many, our parish has felt the pastoral and financial effects of the COVID19 pandemic.
Our Lord is always here for us all, and we will endeavour to always be there for you through these challenging times. If you feel able, please give generously to support our parish and mission.
